Refund policy

You have 30 days from the day your item arrives to request a return.

To qualify, the product must be in the same condition you received it: unused, uninstalled, with all original tags, accessories and packaging intact. For air conditioning units, this means the unit must not have been mounted, wired in, charged or run. Proof of purchase or your receipt is also required.

To begin a return, contact us at info@salebydale.com. If we approve your return, we will send you a shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send the unit. Because air conditioners are bulky, please keep the original box and protective materials — returns are much easier to process when the unit ships back in its factory packaging. Items sent back without an approved return request cannot be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us right away if the unit is defective, damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong item, so we can assess the problem and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

Some products cannot be returned. This includes units that have already been installed, wired in or run, as well as clearance or final-sale items and gift cards. We also cannot accept the return of any item that has been charged with, or contaminated by, refrigerant or other regulated substances after installation, since carriers restrict the transport of such goods. If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, get in touch before returning it.

Manufacturer Warranty

Many of our units come with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. This is separate from your return rights. If a unit develops a fault outside the return window, contact us and we will help you start a warranty claim with the manufacturer.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get the item you want is to return the original (once the return is approved) and place a new order for the replacement separately.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will let you know whether the refund is approved. If it is, we will refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Keep in mind your bank or card issuer may need extra time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not seen your refund, please contact us at info@salebydale.com.
